. Perform this adjustment only after replacing IC903,
1LV901 (PROMPT FREQ) or 1LV902 (PROMPT
TUNE) on the TR-133B board.
Use a TRIAX cable of 300 m or less for this adjustment.
. The CA-590/590P shall have been adjusted properly.
Measuring instruments: Waveform monitor, Video
signal generator (sweep signal,
10 STEP signal)

Preparation:

The RX PROMPTER output terminal must be output from
RET-2/PROMPTER BNC on the CCU rear panel.
. S2 (TX ← REM → RX)/TR-133B board (CCU) →
"RX"
. S301/DM-139B board (CA-590/590P) → "TX"
. S1 (Cable Length)/DM-140 board (CCU) → "F" (AUTO)
. Input sweep signal from the video signal generator to the
PROMPTER terminal on the CA-590/590P rear panel.
Measuring instrument: RET-3/PROMPTER terminal

Adjustment procedure:
1. Adjust temporarily 1LV902 (PROMPT TUNE) on the
TR-133B board so that a video waveform appears on
the waveform monitor.
2. Adjust 1LV901 (PROMPT FREQ)/TR-133B board to
minimize the frequency response around 6 MHz.

3. Switch the video signal generator signal to 10 STEP
signal.
