SW-1189 Board
The SW-1189 board displays main power, camera power, cable open/short-circuit alarm signals sent from
the AT-155B board. This board also allows INCOM communication if an INCOM headset is connected
to the XLR-5P connector. S3 is used to switch the PROD/ENG/PRIV signals, and S4 to switch the MIC
ON/MIC OFF/PGM signals. In addition, S5 is used to choose a microphone type (carbon, ECM or
dynamic) for the headset to be used.
VDA-62B board
The VDA-62B board drives SDI, VBS, PIX, WFM, RGB signals to the BNC connector on the rear panel.
This board also relays data between RCP and the AT-155B board.
The WFM and PIX signals from the EN-156B board pass through the LPF and the amplifier, and are then
output to the connector CN4. The relay RY1 is always connected for signals to be output. The PIX signal
branches after FL2 and is sent to the PIX OUT connector of RCP. The Y/G, R-Y/R, and B-Y/B signals
from the EN-156B board are transferred to the BNC connector on the rear panel through this board.
The IC4 digital audio output is not supported.
This board is able to select which output terminal (SDI or VBS for 3 channels) to use for signal output
based on the setting of the DIP switch on the EN-156B board. The VBS signal passes through the LPF
FL201, and is then input into the drive circuit composed of IC201 to IC205. The SDI signal is also input
into the drive circuit comprising IC251, IC252, Q253, and Q254. However, only one circuit for selected
signal is activated by the SDI/VBS selection signal that is input into Q202, and the selected signal is
output to CN5 through the drive circuit. Same SDI/VBS selection circuits are provided for three channels.
DIF-148 Board
According to the analog RETURN VIDEO select CTL signal and SDI RETURN VIDEO select CTL
signal that are sent from the DIF-148 and IV-57B boards, the DIF-148 board selects the analog VIDEO
(VBS) signal and outputs it to the IV-57B board through the VIDEO amplifier IC381, or selects the SDI
VIDEO signal and outputs the serial data shaped by the cable equalizer IC281 to the IV-57B board.
For RETURN-3/4 input, either VBS input or SDI input can be selected by the menu setting of CCU-590.
IO-214 Board
This board is used to merge the RF signal (between camera and CCU-590) and the power voltage to the
camera. The RF signal is supplied from CN2, and 180 VDC is supplied form W1. The RF signal passes
through C1, and the 180 VDC passes through L4, L3, and L2, and these signals are merged and then sent
to the camera.
