TROUBLESHOOTING YOUR COFFEEMAKER

PROBLEM
THE "BREW NOW/ON"
LIGHT DIES NOT LIGHT UP
THE COFFEE IS NOT BREWING
THE COFFEEMAKER ONLY

THE COFFEEMAKER BREWS
SLOWLY
THE FILTER BASKET
OVERFLOWS
POSSIBLE CAUSE
• The appliance is unplugged
• There's a power outage
• The appliance is unplugged

• The water reservoir is empty
• The filter basket in not
properly inserted
• The decanter is not placed
all the way in on the warmer
• There are no coffee grounds
in the filter basket
• The coffeemaker needs
cleaning
• The filter basket is not

• The decanter lid is not on

• Too many coffee grounds
were placed in the filter
• The decanter was removed
from the warmer plate for

SOLUTION
• Plug unit in
• Wait for power
to be restored
• Plug unit in

• Check the water windows
• Insert filter basket
correctly
• Place decanter
correctly on the
warmer place
• Add the desired amount of
coffee to the filter
• Clean coffeemaker
slowly as described
in "cleaning and
maintaining" section
• Insert filter basket
correctly
• Place decanter
correctly on the
warmer place
• Place lid on the
decanter
• Remove the filter, discard
grounds. If permanent filter,
rinse. If paper filter, replace.
Begin brewing process again
•Turn off and unplug the unit
allow to wipe up spill. Do
not set hot decanter back
on the wet warmer
