Configuring SSID, Wireless Mode, and Channel

Using the Basic Setting tab, you can configure the Adapter's SSID, wireless mode, and
channel.

its factory default settings.
Note: A precautionary message does not appear before you return the Adapter to default

Using the SMC WLAN Configuration Tool (Windows)
Name of the wireless network scanned by the Adapter.
Select a wireless frequency (for example, 2.4G).
Select a radio channel used by the Adapter to transmit data. Changing the channel is only effective
in ad hoc – peer-to-peer networks. Networks that operate in Infrastructure mode automatically scan
for a channel. Table 3-2 shows the operational channel frequency for several countries.
