Installation Checks

Checking the Cabinet

• Ensure that the external power supply corresponds with cabinet's distribution panel.
• Check that the cabinet door can close properly after all the equipment has been installed.
• Check that the cabinet has been completely fastened and that it does not move or tilt.
• Check that all the necessary equipment has been installed in the cabinet and that all the cables have
been properly fastened to the cabinet.

Checking the Cables

• Check that the fiber-optic and twisted pair cables have been connected to the correct interfaces.
• Check that the cables have been properly bound.

Checking the Power Supply

• Check that the contacts on the power cable are in good condition and that they comply to all relevant
safety standards.
• Check the power supply is working normally by turning on the power switch.
