4-3-11.[ S ]: Flash Adjustment

Note:
Always run Strobe Adjustment after running [P]:
Picture Adjustment.
Select S on the Adjustment Items Select Screen.
When the S key is pressed on the PC keyboard the
Flash Adjustment Screen (Fig.20) appears. Proceed
with the adjustment in accordance with the instructions
on the PC screen. The adjustment procedure and de-
scription are given below.
<Step 1>
Place the camera in the required position (Fig.B on
P15). When the strobe pops up and all preparations
are complete, press the Enter key.
<Step 2>
Press the Enter key to begin strobe adjustment. Ad-
justment consists of three charge and flash cycles.
When adjustment is completed normally the Strobe
Adjustment Completion Screen (Fig.21) is dis-
played.
<Step 3>
When the Enter key is pressed in the Flash Adjustment
Completion Screen (Fig.21), the system returns to the
Adjustment Items Select Screen (Fig.3). Proceed with
any other necessary adjustments. Always select [E]:
End Setting to complete adjustment (see P29 for de-
tails).

Select F1 or F2 on the Adjustment Items Select Screen.
When the F1 or F2 keys are pressed on the PC keyboard
the Adjustment Results Display Screen appears. This
screen is useful when confirming setup before and after
adjustments. Check the displayable details on the PC.
Always select [E]: End Setting to complete adjust-
ment (see P29 for details) when the adjustment soft-
ware is terminated following confirmation of the ad-
justment results display.
