4-3-5. [ L ] : Display LCD Adjustment

Select L on the Adjustment Items Select Screen. When
the L key is pressed on the PC keyboard the Display
LCD Adjustment Screen (Fig.4) appears. Proceed with
the adjustment in accordance with the instructions on
the PC screen. The adjustment procedure and descrip-
tion are given below.
<Step 1>
Use the and keys on the PC keyboard to adjust
the density of the symbol (Fig.5) on the text LCD.
At the same time, make adjustments to ensure that
the symbol is not surrounded by cross-talk (shad-
ing). When all adjustments are satisfactory, press
the Enter key on the PC keyboard.
<Step 2>
After pressing the Enter key, the system returns to the
Adjustment Items menu. Proceed with any other nec-
essary adjustments. Always select [E]: End Setting to
complete adjustment (see P29 for details).
4-3-6. [ C ]: CCD defect Data Write/OFD
Adjustment
Select C on the Adjustment Items Select Screen.
When the C key is pressed on the PC keyboard the
CCD defect Data Write/OFD Adjustment (Fig.6) ap-
pears. Proceed with the adjustment in accordance
with the instructions on the PC screen. The adjust-
ment procedure and description are given below.
<Step 1>
After Exchange a new lens, insert the CCD defect
Data floppy disk supplied with the lens in the A:
drive of the PC.
<Step 2>
Enter the 8-digit number on the floppy disk on the
screen (Fig.6-(1)) from the keyboard, and press the
Enter key.
<Step 3>
When the Enter key is pressed, the CCD defect data is
written, and OFD adjustment performed, automatically.
<Step 4>
When the screen appears indicating that adjust-
ment has been completed (Fig.7), press the Enter
key in accordance with the instructions on the
screen.
<Step 5>
After pressing the Enter key, the system returns to
the Adjustment Items Select Screen. Proceed with
any other necessary adjustments. Always select [E]:
End Setting to complete adjustment (see P29 for
details).
