Do not run engine during storage peri-
od.
Battery
Remove battery from vehicle and clean
outside surface of battery with solution
of baking soda and water. Remove all
deposits from posts then rinse with
clear tap water .

... solution to enter battery interior
since it will destroy the electrolyte.
Check electrolyte level. Refill if neces-
sary with distilled water. Fully charge
battery.

Coat electrical connections and switch-
es with a greaseless metal protector, if
unavailable, use petroleum jelly. Store
unit in a cool, dry place.
Battery Removal & Installation
1. Remove and push aside the injec-
tion oil reservoir. Do not disconnect
the hose. Remove the oil reservoir
support.
