4.2.11 CR Motor removal

1.
Remove the Housing from the printer. (Refer to 4.2.1 "Housing removal")
2.
Disconnect the CR motor connector cable from the CN14 on the Main board with
tweezers
3.
Bring down the Carriage Lock Lever toward you using tweezers to unlock the
carriage, and move the CR Unit from the home position.
4.
Loosen the CR Timing Belt by moving the Driven Pulley Holder to the right, and
remove the CR Timing Belt from the pinion of the CR Motor.

When removing the timing belt, take care not to damage the CR

5.
Remove the two screws (C.P. SCREW, 3x4, F/ZN) while holding the CR Motor,
and remove the CR Motor.

When installing the CR Motor, connect the CR Motor Connector
Cable to the Main Board (CN14) securely.

Tightening torque for screws
Two screws securing the CR Motor:

Once the CR Motor has been removed, make the following
