Installing the
printer software
If your computer has a CD-ROM drive, follow the
steps in the Getting Started booklet to install your
printer software.
Follow the steps below to install the printer
software.

Installing from diskette

Follow the instructions below to install the printer
software.
Windows 95 or 98

Start Windows.

Insert Setup Disk 1 into your disk drive.

From the Start menu, choose Settings, then
choose Printers.

From the Printers folder, double-click
Printer.

Click Next> until you are prompted by a
screen listing printer manufacturers and
models.

Click Have Disk.
The Install From Disk dialog box
appears.

In the "Install From Disk" dialog box, type
the letter of your disk drive (for example,
a:), and then click OK.

Click Next>.

Select the port you want to use with this
printer (for example, LPT1) and then click
Next>.

If you have other printers installed, click
to use the Lexmark 3200 as the default Win-
dows printer.

Click Finish.

When prompted by the printer software,
insert the appropriate disks into your disk
drive and click OK.

When the Software License Agreement
appears, read it and click
installing the printer software.
