Dialling methods ______________________________

There are several methods of dialling the receiving party's number, depending on how your fax is
set up.
Regular dialling
Dial a fax number using the numeric buttons.
Remember that when using regular dialling, you must press [Start/Copy] after entering the number.
One-touch speed dialling (see p. 2-12)
Dial a fax number that has been registered under a one-touch speed dialling button by simply
pressing the corresponding one-touch speed dialling button.
Coded speed dialling (see p. 2-14)
Dial a fax number that has been registered under a coded speed dialling code by pressing [Coded
Dial/Directory] and the two-digit code under which the number is registered.
Scroll through coded speed dialling locations by pressing [Coded Dial/Directory] and then using
[1] or [2] to scroll through a list of coded speed dialling codes under which numbers have been
registered.
Group dialling (see p. 2-15)
Dial fax numbers registered in a group by either pressing a single button, or by pressing [Coded
Dial/Directory] and then entering the two-digit code under which the group is registered.
Directory dialling (see p. 2-19)
Dial a fax number after looking up the receiving party's name and retrieving the number.
