Search Maps
1. On the Google Maps screen, touch
2. Type the place that you want to search. You can enter an address, a city, or type of establishment.
3. Touch a matching result on the drop-down list. A red callout label appears on the map to indicate
the location.
4. Touch the red callout to open the menu for the location.

1. On the Google Maps screen, touch
2. Touch the Explore nearby banner and choose places to eat, drink, play, shop and sleep.
Below the Explore nearby banner, find other services such as convenience stores, post

offices, petrol stations, and more.
3. Touch a location to see it on the map or get directions.
To clear your search, touch the X button to the right of the search box.

Layer and Additional Options
Layers allow you to view locations and additional info overlaid on the map.
To access available layer and additional options menu, touch the three-line icon

left corner of the Maps screen.
A menu with available layers for your map will appear. Touch the name of the layer that
l
you'd like to turn on for your map (e.g. Traffic).
For additional options, touch Settings, Help, or Send feedback.

Get Directions
1. On the Google Maps screen, touch
2. Do one of the following:
Select the way to get to the destination (by car, by train, by bicycle, or by foot).

The starting point is set to your current location as default. Touch My Location to change

your starting point place.
Touch Choose destination... and type your destination or touch the destination from your
