Using a cordless external
handset
If your cordless telephone is connected to the
machine through the T-piece connection (see
Connecting an external or extension
telephone uu page 30) and you typically
carry the cordless handset elsewhere, it is
easier to answer calls during the Ring Delay.
If you let the machine answer first, lift the
cordless handset and then go to the machine
so you can press
to transfer the call to the
cordless handset.
