7 From the Interval drop-down list box, select the number of minutes for
the system to wait before moving to the next attempt.
The interval depends upon the attempt method you are using and is
largely a matter of trial-and-error.
8 Repeat steps 1–6 to set up additional attempts if required.
9 Click Apply, and then perform an Off Site Notification test by leaving a
voice mail message in your mail box. See

If notified by pager, call into your voice mail to retrieve the message(s).
When notified by Voice Mail, the APX Messaging System automatically
calls the number you provided and you will be able to listen to the
prompts to access your message(s).
You can select one of nine different ringing tones to help you distinguish
your telephone from others in noisy areas.
To change your ringer tone:
1 Login to NetSet as a User.
2 Select the Ringer Tones tab.
3 Select one of the nine different ringer tones from the drop-down list box.
The default ringer tone is Alert Tone 1.
4 Click Apply.
To listen to each of the nine different ringer tones, click the Sample
Ringer Tone buttons.
In addition to the nine different audible ringing tones that you can select,
you can also disable the ringing. The telephone still keeps its other
features, but no longer rings audibly.
To disable the ringing:
1 Login to NetSet as a User.
2 Select the Ringer Tones tab.
3 Select Silent Ring from the drop-down list box.
4 Click Apply.
