Keep Warm™ Option
WARNING
Food Poisoning Hazard
Do not let food sit in oven more than one hour before
or after cooking.
Doing so can result in food poisoning or sickness.
IMPORTANT: Food must be at serving temperature before it is
placed in the oven. Food may be held up to 1 hour; however,
breads and casseroles may become too dry during the Keep
Warm function.
A
B
The Keep Warm™ option allows hot cooked food to stay at
serving temperature. It can also be used at the end of a Timed
Cook cycle.
1. From the Select Mode menu, or whenever available, press
the quickset pad next to the Keep Warm option.
2. If selecting Keep Warm as an independent cycle, use the
number keypad to enter the desired temperature between
150ºF (66ºC) and 200ºF (93ºC).
3. Press Start to begin warming the oven. Place food in oven at
appropriate time.
4. If selecting Keep Warm as an option within a cycle, select Set
Cook Timer. Choose ON/OFF for Keep Warm. When "On,"
the oven will automatically go into warm mode when the
programmed cook timer ends. The temperature must be
between 100°F (38°C) and 200°F (93°C).
5. Press CANCEL OVEN (Cancel Upper or Cancel Lower, on
double models) to turn off the oven.

Convection

(on some models)
In a convection oven, the fan-circulated hot air distributes heat
more evenly than the natural movement of air in a standard
thermal oven. This movement of hot air helps maintain a
consistent temperature throughout the oven, cooking foods more
evenly, while sealing in moisture.
Most foods, using convect baking mode, can be cooked by
lowering cooking temperatures 25°F (14°C). The cooking time,
can be shortened by as much as 30 percent when using Convect
Roast, especially for large turkeys and roasts.
It is important not to cover foods with lids or aluminum foil so
that surface areas remain exposed to the circulating air,
allowing browning and crisping.
Keep heat loss to a minimum by opening the oven door only
when necessary.
Choose cookie sheets without sides and roasting pans with
lower sides to allow air to move freely around the food.
