• Do not mix old and new batteries, different types of
batteries (alkaline, or rechargeable), or rechargeable
batteries of different capacities.
• If you do not plan to use the remote for more than
one week, remove the battery. Batteries can leak
chemicals that can damage electronic parts.

Troubleshooting

Problem
I press SET and the
appropriate key
at the same time
but the remote still
doesn't work.
I have tried all the
codes under my
device's brand, my
universal remote still
does not work.
The red LED doesn't
turn off after I enter
the 3-digit code
during Brand Code
Setup.
Press and hold SET, then press the
appropriate key.
The remote will not enter the desired
mode if buttons are pressed in the
wrong order.
Use Manual Search or Auto Search
to find the proper codes.
• If the red LED turns off after enter-
ing the last digit of the code, the
code number is valid (matches a
code in the Code List).
• If the red LED blinks then stays lit
after entering the last digit of the
code, the code number is invalid
(does not match a code in the Code
List). Try the next code for your
device.
