16. RESET

Should the AR2300 appear to behave strangely, normal operation may be easily achieved by resetting

the microprocessor. Two scenarios may be encountered due to power transients etc:

Symptom: No control of the receiver from a PC.

Symptom: The PC screen freezes.

Should AR2300 still behave strangely, (while the receiver is ON) push the internal reset button "S3" which

is accessible through the bottom case as illustrated:

(the case does not need to be opened)

Action:

Turn off the power switch on the front panel. Leave it off for

approximately 30 seconds. Turn the power switch back on again.

Normal operation should be restored but the last used frequency will be lost.

The AR2300 will restore the second-last frequency to display.

Action:

Reboot your PC and run the control program again.
