Configuring printer driver settings

Open the printer properties
There are two ways to open the printer properties:

From your application software
G
From the printer icon
Note
Changing the printer properties from the printer icon will change them
for all documents you print on this printer. To change the printer
properties for one document, change them from the application
software.

From the application software
Opening the printer properties from application software vary on the type
of application software you use. See your application software's manual
for details. The following example utilizes Microsoft

Select "Print" from the File menu.

The Print dialogue box will appear. In Name field, select the "KONICA
MINOLTA 130f PCL6 (or PCL5e)", then click [Properties].

The printer properties window will appear. For descriptions of the
printer driver settings, see page 3-2ff.

From the printer icon

Click [Start] % [Settings] % [Printers].
Windows XP Professional, click [Start] % [Printers and Faxes].
Windows XP Home edition, click [Start] % [Control Panel] % [Printers
and other Hardware] % [Printers and Faxes].

Right-click the "KONICA MINOLTA 130f PCL6 (or PCL5e)" icon, and
then click [Properties] (Windows 98/Me), [Printing Preferences]
(Windows 2000/XP).
