About recovery

When the SD card is accessed, you try to playback a scene or faulty control information is read, one of
the messages below may be displayed. (Depending on the error, this may take time.)
When connecting to AC adaptor or the remaining capacity of the battery is enough:
[FINISHED.]
When the remaining capacity of the battery is low:
[CANNOT REPAIR CONTROL INFORMATION DUE TO LOW BATTERY POWER.]
When connecting to AC adaptor or the remaining capacity of the battery is enough:
[THUMBNAIL DATA HAS BEEN REPAIRED SUCCESSFULLY.]
When the remaining capacity of the battery is low:
[CANNOT REPAIR CONTROL INFORMATION DUE TO LOW BATTERY POWER.]
≥ Use a sufficiently charged battery or the AC adaptor.
≥ Depending on the condition of the data, it may not be possible to completely repair the data.
≥ If the recovery fails, you will no longer be able to playback the scenes recorded before the power
went off.
≥ When data recorded on another device is recovered, it may not be possible to play back the data on
this unit or the other device.
≥ If the recovery fails, format the SD card on this unit.
≥ If the thumbnail information is recovered, displaying the thumbnails may become slower.
The AGS function is activated. (l 40)
An irregularity in the unit has been detected. Press the RESET
button to restart the unit. (l 120)
The [GUIDE LINES], [ZEBRA], [MF ASSIST], [MIC LEVEL] and
[RED EYE] menu settings cannot be set when the colour bar is set.
The DVD burner is not correctly connected.
Disconnect and then reconnect the Mini AB USB Connection Cable.
Connect a DVD burner that is compatible with this unit. (l 85)
A disc is not inserted in the DVD burner. Or, this unit and the DVD
burner were connected and then a disc that cannot be used was
inserted. Connect this unit to the DVD burner and then insert a disc
that can be used for copying. (l 85)
Copying is not possible as you connected this unit to the DVD
burner and then inserted a disc that cannot be used or a used disc.
Use a new disc. (l 85)
The unit cannot correctly establish the connection to the computer
or printer. Disconnect and then reconnect the USB cable.
When the unit is connected to a computer or DVD burner, its power
cannot be turned off.
CONTROL DATA ERROR HAS BEEN DETECTED.
THUMBNAIL DATA ERROR IS DETECTED.
