Changing Polling Transmission

Description
1 Press [MENU].
2 Press [SET].
3 Press [MENU], to select POLLING Tx.
4 Press [SET].
5 Press [MENU], to select CHANGE.
6 Press [SET].
7 Enter the new password.
8 Press [SET]. A beep confirms the entry.

Overseas Transmission

When you transmit documents over long distances, disturbances in the
telephone line may cause errors in the transmission. To eliminate this type
of error you can reduce the transmission speed temporarily. In this way
you can also compensate errors that occur due to bad telephone lines in
general.
Description
1 Place the document in the document
feeder and adjust the paper guides.
2 Press [SPEED DIAL].
3 Press [#]. A beep confirms the entry.
Proceed with the transmission as usual.
