Lights up for a few sec onds when ig nition is
switched on. The system is now ready for
opera tion.
Flashing during driving:
This shows the system has com e into
action. The engine output may be reduced
(the sound of the engine cha nges) a nd the
vehic le ma y be braked automatically to a
small degree.
Lit during driving:
Fault in ESP system. Vehic le can continue
to be driven. However, driving stab ility may
worsen depending on type of road surface.
Have the ca use of the fault rem edied. We
recommend that you consult your Vauxhall
Authorised Repairer. The system's
integrated self-diag nostics a llows faults to
be q uick ly remedied.
