Window dem isting a nd de-icing
Disreg ard of the settings described can
cause the windows to become m isted up
which c an lead to accidents due to lack
of p roper vision.
Press button V . V app ears on the
display.
Tem perature and air distribution are set
automatically and the fan is run at a high
speed to quickly clear ice a nd
condensation from the windows.
To return to automatic m od e: press
button V or AUTO.

Hea ted rear wi nd ow,
heat ed exterior m irrors
Press button Ü. Ü a ppears on the display.
The rea r window and exterior mirrors will
quic kly be cleared of ic e and condensation.
Heating operationa l only with engine
running.
The heating is switched off automatically
after approx . 15 minutes. To sw itch it off
before that tim e: press button Ü ag ain.
O peration w ithout cooling
Press EC O button. ECO appears on the
display.
S witc h on to save fuel. In this mode cooling
(the c ooling comp ressor) is sw itc hed off.
Inflowing air is neither c ooled nor
dehum idified. This restricts the lev el of
comfort provided by the electronic air
conditioning sy stem. This may cause the
windows to mist up, for example.
To return to operation w ith c ooling: press
ECO button. ECO goes out.
