Symptoms
• A longer readout time is
required.
• Tracks cannot be played
back as you have intended
them to play.
• Elapsed playing time is not
correct.
• Correct characters are not
displayed (e.g. album name).
• Disc cannot be played
back.
• No picture appears on the
external monitor at all.

Causes
Readout time varies due to
the complexity of the folder/
file configuration.
Playback order is determined
when the files are recorded.
This sometimes occurs
during play. This is caused
by how the tracks are
recorded on the disc.
This receiver can only
display alphabets
(A – Z, a – z), numbers,
and a limited number of
symbols.
No JPEG files are recorded
on the disc.
JPEG files do not have the
extension code <.jpg> or in
their file names.
JPEG files are not recorded
in a compliant format.
JPEG files are recorded in
DVD+R/DVD+RW media.
The video cord is not
connected correctly.
An incorrect input has
been selected on the TV or
monitor.
Remedies
Do not use too many
hierarchies and folders.
Change the disc.
Add the extension code
<.jpg> to their file names.
Change the disc.
Record JPEG files using a
compliant application (see
page 6).
Change the disc.
Record JPEG files using
DVD-R/DVD-RW media.
Connect the video cord
correctly.
Select a correct input on the
TV or monitor.
