    The Vertex Standard VM-3500E is a VHF/FM transceiver designed for use in the frequency range of 156.025 to 163.275 MHz. The VM-3500E can be oper- ated from 11 to 16 VDC and has a switchable RF output power of 1 watt or 25 watts.

    When receiving an individual call, an acknowledgment must be sent back to the calling station. The VM-3500E default setting is Automatic, but has a selection that allows you to manually send a reply before the radio will switch to the re- quested calling channel.
