TOGGLE S WITCH UNCTIONS The VX-1210’s TOGGLE switch functions can be customized, via programming by the dealer. Some features may require the purchase and installation of optional internal ac- cessories. The possible TOGGLE switch programming features are illustrated at the bot- tom, and their functions are explained on the next page.

When a SELCALL is decoded, an alert ringer sounds for 30 seconds, and appear the ID code of the calling stations (such as “ID1234”) will appear in the display. If a private SELCALL is detected, the VX-1210 send the answer back signal to the calling station automatically before the alert ringer sounds.
