NOTE: If you set the target pacer, the target pace and whether the lap was fast, slow, or
on target is also saved
If you set the target pacer, these data will also be tracked:
 TARGET PACE – the minutes per mile/km goal you set
 TARGET DIST – the distance goal you set for the workout
 TARGET TOTAL – your goal for the total time to complete the workout (target distance
times target pace)
 TOTAL <FAST/SLOW/ON PACE> – indicates whether you were faster or slower than
your target total, and by how much
NOTE: To track and store all workout data, make sure the run sensor is enabled and the target
pace is set. See

does not match the distance you have actually traveled, you can set the stride length
manually for more accurate measurements.
If the distances measured by the watch are shorter than the distances traveled, increase your
stride length setting. If the distances measured by the watch are longer than the distances
traveled, decrease your stride length setting.
7. Press MODE until SETUP displays.
8. Press START/SPLIT/+ to select STRIDE.
9. Press SET.
10. Press START/SPLIT/+ or DISPLAY/TAP ON-OFF/- to select MANUAL, and then
press MODE.
11. Press START/SPLIT/+, DISPLAY/TAP ON-OFF/-, and MODE to increase or decrease
the STRIDE value provided by the watch.
12. Press SET to exit.

ENABLING THE TAPSCREEN™
To turn on the TapScreen™ before starting a Chrono workout, press DISPLAY. You can then
tap the watch face during your workout to take a lap/split.

STARTING, STOPPING, AND SAVING A WORKOUT

1. Press MODE until CHRONO displays.
2. Tap the watch face or press START.
The chronometer begins timing. The w icon is lit when the chronometer is running.

icon animates when the run sensor is counting steps.
