Using scan functions

Scan Size

Specify the size of paper to be scanned. Scanning size
settings can be selected in any of the following ways.
Setting
Auto
Inches
Metric
Other Papers

To specify the Scan Size setting

In the Scan mode screen, touch [Scan
Settings].
The Scan Settings screen appears.

Description
Select this setting to detect the size of the
first page in the loaded document.
Select a preset paper size and orientation in
inch sizes.
Select a preset paper size and orientation in
metric sizes.
Select a preset paper size and orientation in
a size other than metric or inch sizes.
