■ Tuning radio stations

1 Press TUNER to select "TUNER/FM" or "TUNER/
AM".
2 Press
/ briefly on the remote control.

The next radio station is tuned automatically.
3 Repeat step 2 (if necessary) until you find the desired
radio station.
4 To tune weak stations, press
repeatedly until the optimal reception is found.
Note
(Europe and Russia models only)
While receiving an FM station, the name of the station you
selected appears in the system display panel.

■ Presetting radio stations

You can store up to 30 preset radio stations (including
both FM and AM stations) in the receiver's memory.
Note
The receiver will exit presetting mode if no button is
pressed within 20 seconds.
Automatic presetting
You can start automatic presetting by pressing a selected
preset number.
1 Press TUNER to select "TUNER/FM" or "TUNER/
AM".
2 Press b / a or use the numeric keypad (0-9)
to select a preset number to begin.
3 Press and hold PROG until "AUTO" appears.

If a radio station is stored in one of the earlier
presets, the same radio station will not store under
another preset number.

If no preset number is selected, automatic preset
will begin from preset (1) and all former presets will
be overridden.
Manual presetting
You can choose to store only your favourite radio stations.
1 Tune the desired radio station (see "Tuning radio
stations" on page 44).
2 Press PROG.
3 Press b / a to select a preset number.
4 Press PROG again to store.
