A message for transfer will appear.

Please hold the remote so that it is facing the receiver.
Use ENTER button of your remote to activate "OK".

receiver's remote control sensor, as shown below.

Learning Commands

The AV receiver's remote controller can learn the com-
mands of other remote controllers. By transmitting, for
example, the Play command from your CD player's
remote controller, the remote controller can learn it, and
then transmit the exact same command when its
pressed in the CD remote mode.
This is useful when you've entered the appropriate remote
control code
(➔
91) but some buttons don't work as
expected.
On

While holding down Remote Mode for the mode
in which you want to use the command, press and
hold down On until Remote Mode button lights
(about 3 seconds).

On the supplied remote controller, press the but-
ton you want to learn the new command.

Point the remote controllers at each other, about 2
to 6 inches (5 to 15 cm) apart, and then press and
hold the button whose command you want to learn
until Remote Mode button flashes.
If the command is learned successfully, Remote
Mode button flashes twice.
