3 If the problem continues, contact your ISP.
I cannot access the Internet anymore. I had access to the Internet (with the P-
2024), but my Internet connection is not available anymore.
1 Check the hardware connections, and make sure the LEDs are behaving as expected. See
the Quick Start Guide and
2 Disconnect and re-connect the power adaptor to the P-2024.
3 If the problem continues, contact your ISP.
The Internet connection is slow or intermittent.
1 There might be a lot of traffic on the network. Look at the LEDs, and check
on page
programs that use the Internet, especially peer-to-peer applications.
2 Disconnect and re-connect the power cable to the P-2024.
3 If the problem continues, contact the network administrator or vendor, or try one of the
advanced suggestions.

13.4 Phone Calls and VoIP

When troubleshooting VoIP problems, bear in mind that while the P-2024's hardware or
configuration may be at fault, the equipment at the other end of the line (the service provider
or the other user) may equally be malfunctioning or misconfigured. If you find no fault with
the P-2024's connection or settings, this may be the case.
I cannot hear a tone of any kind when I lift the receiver of a phone connected
to the P-2024.
Test the connection between the telephone and the P-2024 as follows.
1 If you have not already done so, check that you connected the hardware as described in
the Quick Start Guide. If you have other hardware connected between the telephone and
the P-2024, ensure it is also correctly configured.
2 Check the LEDs on the P-2024. When you lift the receiver of a phone connected to one
of the P-2024's ports, the corresponding LED should flash. If this does not happen, and
you have other hardware between the telephone and the P-2024, try connecting the
phone directly to the P-2024's Telco-50 cable, if possible.
