Pay particular attention to the LEDs on the front panel.     Note: The preset SSID and password are uniquely generated for every device to protect and maximize your wireless security. NETGEAR recommends that you do not change your preset security settings. If you do decide to change your preset security settings, make a note of the new settings and store it in a safe place where you can easily find it.

To avoid this problem, use a computer with a wired connection to access the wireless modem router.

After setting up the wireless modem router the first time, if you want to perform this task again, you can run Setup Wizard from the Advanced tab of the Genie.

The wireless modem router is shipped preconfigured to use private IP addresses on the LAN side and to act as a DHCP server.

The N600 Modem Router can provide QoS prioritization over the wireless link and on the Internet connection.

For convenience, the QoS Policy table lists many common applications and online games that can benefit from QoS handling.
