Display Setup

Set display-related items.
Setting items
Screen Saver
Off : Do not use the screensaver.
Set the screensaver.
On : The screensaver function activates when stop or pause status
continues for about three minutes.
Wallpaper
Picture : Displays the DENON logo.
Black : Set the background to black.
Set to display the background
while playback is stopping.
Gray : Set the background to gray.
Blue : Set the background to blue.
Still Mode
Automatic : Display automatically using "Field" or "Frame" per the still

Auto Power Mode
Off : Do not use auto power mode.
This setting automatically
On : This setting automatically sets the power to standby if any of the

Switches the DVD-A1UD's remote control ID code when other DENON

D ENON 1 : Set the switch in the remote control battery compartment to
"1" as well ("Remote Control Settings (Remote Control Side)" vpage
7).
D ENON 2 : Set the switch in the remote control battery compartment to
"2" as well ("Remote Control Settings (Remote Control Side)" vpage
7).
GReceive Legacy RemoconH
Set whether or not to accept remote control signals of a DENON DVD
player or other device.
On : Accept
Off : Do not accept
BD Data Utility
BD Data Erase : Erases both internal memory and SD Memory Card
Erases data on SD Memory
storage.

Initialize SD Card : Initialize the SD card to be used for the Bonus View
function.
NOTE
Insert or remove a SD Memory Card while the power is in standby.
If you insert a SD Memory Card while the power is ON, the SD Memory
Card may not be read.
The SD card used for the Bonus View function must have a capacity of
1GB or greater. Also the SD card must be initialized on the DVD-A1UD.
This operation will delete all the data. Do not perform this operation
when an SD card containing MP3 or JPEG data is inserted.
