Operating using the on-screen display

This function lets you display information about the disc (titles,
chapters, time, etc.) and specify the part you want to play.

• The display on the TV screen switches each time the button is
pressed.
• The items displayed differ from disc to disc.
For DVD-Video discs

For Video CDs / Super audio CDs / Music CDs discs
For video and music CDs, only the elapsed time switches.
Some Super Audio CDs contain text information. In such cases,
the album titles and artists are also displayed in the stop mode,
and the title of the currently playing track is also displayed in the
play mode.
For Super Audio CDs containing text information, the total
remaining time is displayed twice.
The second time, the text information is shown on the DVD-
2930's display.
It may not be possible to display the disc information either for
discs on which the elapsed playing time is not indicated on the
DVD-2930's display during playback.
