Replacing the battery

To replace the battery:

If your convertible tablet PC is on and is connected to AC power, go to

-OR-
If your convertible tablet PC is on and is not plugged into an AC outlet,
save your work and turn off the convertible tablet PC.

Close the LCD panel.

Disconnect your convertible tablet PC from the optional port replicator
(see

Turn your convertible tablet PC over so the bottom is facing up.

Slide the battery lock to the unlocked position, then slide the battery
release latch.
