INTELLICODE1 REMOTES
Remotesprovidedwith this unit can operateother (Intellicode1)
modelsof Geniegaragedoor openers. T he default Intellicode2 setting
must be changedto Intellicode1. (Followthese samesteps to change
Intellicode1 back to Intellicode2.)
NOTE: Thebutton directlyabovethe logo on the transmitteris preset
to Intellicode 1.
TheLEDcolordisplayedon the Remoteindicatesthe Intellicodemode:
Red= Intellicode1 Green= Intellicode2
Selecta Remotebutton NOTalreadyprogrammed to
the Powerhead.Pressand hold the buttonfor 10 seconds
(boththe RED and GREEN LEDson the Remoteturn ON).
_/_ Pressand releasethe Remotebutton 3 times.

Pressthe Remotebuttonagain.If the door moves,the
Remotebutton is programmedto your opener.

for operationwith Intellicode2 openers.
Oncethe LEDon the Remoteturns RED when the buttonis pressed,
that button is programmedto the Intellicode1.
Findthe LearnCodeButtonand LearnCodeIndicatorLED I
on your older Geniedoor opener.

If your door openerhas a black antennawire and the serial number
doesnot start with 10 or higher,the LearnCodeButtonand
IndicatorLEDare locatednearthe antenna. T he light lensmay needto
be opened.If you usean externalreceiver,it may needto be opened
to accessthe LearnCodeButtonand IndicatorLED.

flashesRED).
