Playback Zoom - Nikon COOLPIX S3500 Reference Manual

Rotating the zoom control to 1" (% in full frame playback mode (_32) zooms in on the
center of the image displayed in the monitor.

• You can adjust the zoom ratio by rotating the zoom control to W ([])/1" (C().Images can
be zoomed up to 10×.
• To view a different area of the image, press the multi selector A, V, ,, or •.
• If you are viewing an image that was captured using face detection (_]68) or pet
detection (_46), the camera zooms in on the face detected at the time of shooting,
except for images captured with Continuous, BSS, Multi-shot 16 ([]_]]63), or Subject
tracking (_1]]63). If the camera detected multiple faces when the image was captured,
_-- press A, V, ,, or • to display a different face. To zoom in on an area of the image where
_o- there are no faces, change the zoom ratio and then, press A, V, 4, or •.
2- • You can crop the image and save the displayed area of the image as a separate file by
pressing the MENU button (_20).
E _ • Press the _) button to return to full-frame playback mode.
