Other Functions
Setting the beep
The sound heard when you make operations is
called "beep". The unit can be set up so that it
does not produce this beep sound.
The factory default is "BEEP ON".
1. When the panel is open, press the [ADJ]
button to select the ADJUST MODE menu.
2. Touch the [ ] key to select "BEEP".
Touch the [BEEP] key to select "ON" and
"OFF".
3. Touch the [ON] or [OFF] key to select a
desired mode and set it.
4. Press the [ADJ] button again or touch the [RTN]
key, The unit returns to the previous mode.
Setting the motion and sprite
pattern speed
The factory default setting is "HIGH" (high).
1. When the panel is open, press the [ADJ]
button to select the ADJUST MODE menu.
2. Touch the [MOTION SENS] key to select
"HIGH" (high) or "MID" (mid) or "LOW" (low).
3. Touch the "HIGH" (high) or "MID" (mid) or
"LOW" (low) key to select a desired mode
and set it.
4. Press the [ADJ] button again or touch the [RTN]
key. The unit returns to the previous mode.
Setting the visual input sound level
You can adjust an input sound level of visual1/2.
The factory default setting is "HIGH"(high).
1. Press the [ADJ] button to display the
ADJUST MODE menu.
2. Touch the [ ] key to select "VISUAL AUX
SENS".
3. Touch the [VISUAL AUX SENS] key to select
"HIGH"(HIGH) or "MID"(mid) or "LOW"(low).
4. Touch the "HIGH" or "MID" or "LOW" key to
select desired mode and set it.
5. Press the [ADJ] button or touch the [RTN]
key to return to the previous mode.
Anti-theft indicator
The red Anti-theft indicator is a function for
preventing theft. When the DCP is removed from
the unit, this indicator blinks.
The factory default setting is "OFF".
1. When the panel is open, press the [ADJ]

2. Touch the [ ] key to select "BLINKING
LED". Touch the [BLINKING LED] key to
select "ON" and "OFF".
3. Touch the [ON] or [OFF] key to select a
desired mode and set it.
4. Press the [ADJ] button again or touch the [RTN]
key. The unit returns to the previous mode.
Setting Auto Volume
1. When the panel is open, press the [ADJ]
button to select the ADJUST MODE menu.
2. Touch the [ ] key to select "AUTO VOL
CALIBRATE".
Touch the [AUTO VOL CALIBRATE] key to
display the [START] key.
3. Keep driving speed 50 km/h and press the
[START] key.
4. [EXECUTING ...] is flash for 2 seconds in
display.
5. If calibration is successful, display indicates
[SUCCESS] and sound long beep.
If calibration is not successful, display
indicates [FAILED] and sound 2 times a
short beep. If you failed, touch the [OK] key.
Note:
• When installing this device or transferring it into
another vehicle, for sake of safety, always have this
work done by the store of purchase or your nearest
Clarion dealer. Installation requires specialized
techniques and experience.
This function is not available when speed pulse cord
is not connected between this unit and the vehicle.
Setting Auto Volume Sensitivity
This function is only available calibration
succeeded in setting Auto Volume.
The factory default setting is "LOW".
1. Press the [ADJ] button to select the ADJUST
MODE menu.
2. Touch the [ ] key to select "AUTO VOL
SENSE".
Touch the [AUTO VOL SENSE] key.
3. Touch the [w] key or [z] key to select a
desired sensitivity.
