OKIFAX 1050 Quick Reference
Fax Identification
1 Press the Select Function key.
2 Press the 9/User Program One Touch key.
3 On the numeric keypad, press 4.
4 Press the Yes < key.
5 Enter your fax number.
6 Press the Start key .
7 Enter your Sender ID (up to 32 characters).
8 Press the Start key.
9 Enter the telephone number you want to use for call back messages. (up to 20 characters).
10 Press the Start key.
11 Press the Select Function key.
Loading Documents/ Transmit Preparation
1 Adjust the document guides.
2 Insert your documents face down into the document feeder.
3 If necessary, use the Transmit Resolution or Yes < key to set the resolution of your document.
4 If necessary, use the Type of Original or No > key to set the level of contrast in your document.
5 Your documents are now ready for faxing or copying.
Auto Dial Numbers
1 Press the Select Function key.
2 Press the 8/Location Program key.
3 Press the Auto Dial key.
4 Using the numeric keypad, enter a 2-digit number between 01 and 40.
5 Enter the fax number.
6 Press the Start key.
7 Enter the Location ID, a descriptive title up to 15 characters long.
8 Press the Start key.
9 To continue programming, go back to Step 4. If you are finished, press the Select Function key.
One Touch Keys
1 Press the Select Function key.
2 Press the 8/Location Program One Touch key.
3 Press a One Touch key to program.
4 Enter the fax number.
5 Press the Start key.
6 Enter the Location ID (up to 15 characters ).
7 Press the Start key.
8 Enter the alternate fax number.
9 Press the Start key to finish programming the One Touch key.
10 To continue programming, go back to Step 3. If you are finished, press the Select Function key.
Broadcast Transmission
1 Load your documents.
2 Press the Select Function key.
3 Press the 2/Broadcast Memory TX One Touch key.
4 Select a location using a One Touch key, an AutoDial number, a group, or by dialing a number on
the numeric keypad.
