The ReadyNAS Volume Setup screen displays.
If you do not select a format within 10 minutes, your system reboots in the same mode
that it was previously using.

Select the Expandable Volume (X-RAID2) radio button.

(Optional) Click a More button to learn more about X-RAID2 or Flex-RAID.
A pop-up window displays. Click the OK button to close it.
6.
Click the Next button.
You are prompted to confirm the volume creation command.
7.
Click the OK button.
The volume is formatted. Formatting can take quite a while, depending on the size of your
hard disk drives.
8.
(Optional) Restore any backed-up data to the reformatted disks.
