Comes on with headlamps. Brightness can
be adjusted with adjuster wheel.

Comes on when the ignition or
Infotainment system is on. Brightness can

Activates automatically when a door is
opened.

Goes off automatically after a delay 3
when the doors are closed or immediately
when the ignition is switched on 3.

Manual operation from inside with doors
closed:
On = Press light switch 0
Off = Press light switch 0 again.
Luggage compartment 3
The luggage compartment lighting comes
on when the luggage compartment is
open.

Lighting

Battery discharge protection

Some consumers such as the interior
lighting switch themselves off after approx.
30 minutes if the ignition is off in order to
protect the battery charge.

Misted lamp covers

The inside of the lamp covers may briefly
mist up under unfavourable wet/cold
weather conditions, during heavy rain or
after the vehicle has been washed. The
misting disappears of its own accord after
a short time, but can be accelerated by
switching on the headlamps.

Headlamps when driving abroad

The asymmetrical dipped beam increases
the field of vision on the passenger side of
the lane.
This causes glare for oncoming traffic if
the vehicle is driven in countries where
traffic drives on the opposite side of the
road.
To avoid dazzle, have a workshop convert
the headlamps.
