Allows an extension user to put an outside call on hold. The held
call can be retrieved by the user who held it or by any other
extension.
• With a single line telephone, the user can hold only one call, either an
extension or outside call.
• Music is sent to the party on hold, if available (Music on Hold).
• If a call on hold is not retrieved within a specific period of time, Hold
Alarm/Hold Recall occurs.
• If an external party is placed on hold and not retrieved within 30
minutes, it will be automatically disconnected.
