Camera settings
Also Save RAW
When [ON] is selected and an image is shot with JPEG format ([Record mode] is
set to [SHQ], [HQ], or [SQ]), a RAW data image is also saved. Two images are
created each time an image is shot. The file names of the two created image files
differ only by the extension.
Noise Filter
When [ON] is selected, this reduces the amount of random noise generated during
normal time exposure.
Noise Reduction
When [ON] is selected, this reduces the amount of noise generated during long
exposure.
Shading Comp.
When [ON] is selected, the brightness that is generated when the edges of the
image become dark due to the use of a wide-angle lens is compensated.
AF Illuminator
When [ON] is selected, the AF Illuminator automatically illuminates dark subjects.
Anti-Shock
When [ON] is selected, Anti-Shock becomes operational during shooting. This
creates a slight interval between the time the shutter button is pressed and the time
the image is actually shot. When shooting images with the use of a tripod, for
example, this function can be used to activate the shutter release after vibrations
from the mirror up have been reduced.
Gradation
Select the gradation from the pull-down list.
Manual Flash
When [ON] is selected, the flash mode is extended when using the internal flash.
Monotone
Select monotone shooting and the type from the pull-down list.
Custom Menu
EV Step
Select the step width of the exposure compensation, aperture value, and shutter
speed settings.
ISO Boost
When [ON] is selected, you can select [800], [1600], or [3200] for [ISO Sensitivity].
