Shooting images

Click the [AF Shooting] button or select [AF Shooting] from the
[Camera] menu.
After an image is shot, a message appears indicating that the image is being
transferred to the computer. The next image cannot be shot while the message is
displayed.
Do not remove the connection cable between the camera and the
computer during image transfer.
The transferred image is displayed in the preview area and thumbnail display
area.
The image display can be rotated and enlarged in the preview area.

The histogram, shutter speed, and other information of the image can be viewed
in the preview information area.
Shooting with a fixed focus
By clicking the [AF Shooting] button to fix the focus and then clicking the
[Shooting] button, you can continue to shoot images at a fixed focus.

If you unchecked [Auto Save] in step 6, click the [Save] button or
select [Save] from the [Camera] menu to save the image.
The image is saved in the destination folder selected in step 2, and the transferred
image is displayed in the thumbnail display area.
If you shoot another image without first saving the current image, the
current image will be lost.
• If [Drive] in the advanced settings is set to [Sequential shooting], shot images
are automatically transferred regardless of the [Auto Save] setting.
• If the focus or exposure cannot be fixed when the [AF Shooting] button (or
Note
[Shooting] button in manual mode) is clicked, a message appears and an
image is not shot.
• You may not be able to shoot an image if [Release Priority S] in the advanced
settings is set to [OFF] and the flash is charging. Wait until the flash is fully
charged before shooting an image.
