Shooting images

2 From the folder tree, select the folder in which you want to save the
image.
It is recommended that you use the hard disk of your computer as the
destination folder.
3 Click the [OK] button.
The location of the selected folder appears in [Save in] in the thumbnail display
area.

Specify the naming convention for the image.
Click the [File Naming Rule] button to display the [File Naming Rule] dialog box.

Click the [Camera Shooting] button or select [Camera Shooting]
from the [Camera] menu.
Camera Master mode is selected.

Change the shooting mode or other shooting settings with the
camera as needed.
Once Camera Master mode is selected, the camera control window cannot be
used to change settings or shoot images.

Press the shutter button on the camera to shoot an image.
When an image is shot, a message appears indicating that the image is being
transferred as the image is transferred to the computer.
Do not remove the connection cable between the camera and the
computer during image transfer.
The transferred image is displayed in the preview area and thumbnail display
area.
The image display can be rotated and enlarged in the preview area.

The histogram, shutter speed, and other information of the image can be viewed
in the preview information area.
For instructions on how to operate the camera, refer to the operation manual
provided with your camera.

Creates a new folder in which to save the image. A new
subfolder is created in the selected folder on the folder tree.
Click this to display a list of registered shortcuts. When a
shortcut is selected from the list, the selected position on the
folder tree jumps to the destination of the shortcut link.
