Prestige 653HWI Series User's Guide
FIELD
Rem IP
Leave the field set to 0.0.0.0 (default) if the remote gateway has a dynamic
Addr
IP address. Enter the remote gateway's IP address here if it is static.
Edit IP
This field leads to a "hidden" menu. Press [SPACE BAR] to select Yes and
press [ENTER] to go to Menu 11.3 - Remote Node Network Layer
Options. See section 25.9 for more information.
Edit Script
Press [SPACE BAR] to select Yes and press [ENTER] to edit the AT script
Options
for the dial backup remote node (Menu 11.4 - Remote Node Script). See
section 25.10 for more information.
Telco Option
Allocated
Enter the maximum number of minutes that this remote node may be called
Budget
within the time period configured in the Period field. The default for this field
is 0 meaning there is no budget control and no time limit for accessing this
remote node.
Period(hr)
Enter the time period (in hours) for how often the budget should be reset.
For example, to allow calls to this remote node for a maximum of 10
minutes every hour, set the Allocated Budget to 10 (minutes) and the
Period to 1 (hour).
Nailed-Up
Press [SPACE BAR] to select Yes to set this connection to always be on,
Connection
regardless of whether or not there is any traffic. Select No to have this
connection act as a dial-up connection.
Session Options
Edit Filter
This field leads to another "hidden" menu. Use [SPACE BAR] to select Yes
sets
and press [ENTER] to open menu 11.5 to edit the filter sets. See section
25.11 for more details.
Idle
Enter the number of seconds of idle time (when there is no traffic from the

Prestige to the remote node) that can elapse before the Prestige
automatically disconnects the PPP connection. This option only applies
when the Prestige initiates the call.
Once you have configured this menu, press [ENTER] at the message "Press ENTER to Confirm..." to save
your configuration, or press [ESC] at any time to cancel.
