Swype Settings
You can customize the Swype settings as you like.
1. Press Home
2. Touch

You can open the Swype settings from the Swype keyboard. Touch and hold

Sound on keypress: Select to play tones when a key is touched.

Auto-correction: Select to automatically correct mistyped words.
•
Show helpful tips: Select to display helpful tips for using Swype.
•
Auto-spacing: Select to automatically insert spaces between words.
•
Auto-capitalization: Select to automatically capitalize the first letter of sentence-
initial words where available.
•
Show complete trace: Select to display the complete Swype path.
•
Pop-up on keypress: Select to display
you touch it.
•
Next word prediction: Select to predict words based on the previously entered
text.
•
Enable handwriting: Select to enable the handwriting function.
•
Reset Swype's dictionary: Select to delete all the words you have added to
Swype's dictionary.
