Use Scout as Your Personal Navigator
1. Press Home
2. When you open the Scout app for the first time, the Terms of Use window will appear.
Touch Accept to continue.
3. Enter your wireless phone number and touch Continue.
4. When the setup process is finished, the Dashboard screen appears.

Touch Set Up Home, enter your home address and touch Submit. The time from
your current location to the entered address will appear under Time to Home.

Touch Set Up Work, enter your work address and touch Submit. The time from your
current location to the entered address will appear under Time to Work.

Touch Places and select a category. The matching information for the category
appears.

Touch Drive and enter an address or touch a category to specify your destination.
The route from your current location appears. Touch Directions to display a turn-by-
turn directions.

Touch Maps and enter an address to see the location on a map. If available, touch
Drive To to get directions to the place, Call to call the place, or Share to share the
information.

Touch
command to get spoken turn-by-turn directions to guide you to your destination.

Touch Extras or press Menu

Google Navigation

Google Navigation uses your current location (provided by GPS communication to your phone)
to provide various location-based services.
1. Press Home
2. Read the onscreen disclaimer and touch Accept, if you agree.
3. Choose from the following onscreen options:

SHORTCUTS tab:

Speak destination to use the voice recognition feature to search for matching
locations.
Apps and Entertainment
> > Scout.
to activate the voice navigation service. Read the examples and say a
> > Navigation.
> Settings to configure Scout's settings.
