6. The character will be selected and highlighted. Use the controller but‐
tons to select and confirm the desired character.
DEL–Deletes the currently highlighted character and moves the subse‐
quent characters toward the left.
INS– Inserts a space at the highlighted location.
A/a– Switches between uppercase and lowercase characters, and sym‐
bols.
Repeat these steps to edit the name.
7. When you finish editing the name, use the controller buttons to select
and confirm "OK." The recorder will display the file edit select
screen.
If you select (highlight) and confirm "Cancel" using the controller but‐
tons, the changes you made will be discarded when the recorder
returns to the project/file edit select screen.
Conserving battery power
If you're using with the MR‐2 operating on battery
power, you can reduce power consumption by turn‐
ing off unneeded circuitry.
1. Press the MENU button to display the menu list,
then use the controller buttons to select and con‐
firm "SYSTEM."
The system setting (SYSTEM) screen will appear.
