Repeat indicator
This icon appears when you program repeat playback. No indicator
appears here if repeat playback is not programmed (see page 35).
Recorder status
The current status of the recorder is shown using symbols such as record
(
), play ( ), or stop (
).
Project/file playback position indicator
This bar graph indicates the approximate playback position of the current
counter value in relation to the overall length of the current project/file.
Also, during recording, it indicates the remaining recordable time in the
format of the current project.
Level meters
You can check the audio input level or monitoring level using these
meters. If "Auto" (Auto Gain Control mode) is selected for recording, the
"Auto Level: Target" value will be marked on the meter. The highlighted
number indicates the reference level.
Recording parameters
During recording, recording parameter settings will be indicated by icons.
You can view the following parameters: input source (see page 14), micro‐
phone sensitivity (see page 21), low cut for microphone (see page 21), auto
level (see page 22), limiter (see page 21), bass boost (see page 21), stereo
effects (see page 21).
Protect indicator
A lock symbol is shown if the current project is protected. Nothing is
shown if the protect setting is off (see page 32).
Project/file name (current project/file)
This shows the name of the currently selected project/file.
Counter
The counter indicates a time value.
Peak hold indicators
Input peaks are indicated by bar graphs and values. When you adjust the
audio input level or monitoring level, it may be helpful to lengthen the
"Meter Peak Hold" setting in the meter screen (see page 29).
