• "ETERNUS DX Disk storage system" refers to the DX80 S2/DX90 S2 Disk storage system.
• "CA" refers to the host interface module used in the ETERNUS DX Disk storage systems to
connect to the server.
• "Host Bus Adapter (HBA)" refers to the interface module normally used by the server to
connect to the ETERNUS DX Disk storage systems. "Interface module" may be referred to as
"FC card", "LAN card", "Network Interface Card (NIC)", "Converged Network Adaptor (CNA),
or "SAS card" depending on the type of server and interface that are used.

Disk storage system, pay attention to the following points when cleaning
the ETERNUS DX80 S2/DX90 S2 Disk storage system:
